Smiths in Ramsey Historical Cemetery of Erath Co

A reader who recently found my blog asked if I knew of any tombstones with the name of SMITH in or around Lingleville in Erath County. There are a few Smiths buried in the beautiful little historical Ramsey cemetery between Stephenville and Lingleville. There are also many who were marked unknown by the Ramsey Cemetery Association. I have placed the few pictures that I took of the Smiths here on this post. It is a beautiful little cemetery that is well cared for.

The Smith Tombstones are in the right foreground of this picture.

These markers date from the 1800s and there are many, many more.
Most of the markers I could not read.

  3. I'll do that. Your genealogy blog looks very interesting. I thought I'd put off looking at it a little closer until today when I had more time.
