  1. Thank you for your photo of my Great-great grandparents momument in Round Rock. I had never seen it before although I have been to Round Rock several times. And I had not been aware that Charolette was related to Pinkstons. My father, born in 1915, and his father were both born in Round Rock. My grandfather with his brothers started a dry cleaning business there, but later moved away. Round Rock looked like a great town when I last saw it about 16 years ago. JDN

  2. I am thrilled that you found this picture of your great-great-grandparents! When I take random photographs like this it is with the hopes that someone will see it and make a connection. It is very gratifying to know that I have given you some pleasure at seeing this for the first time. If you would like, I can send you a digital copy. Were you able to click on the picture and see the monument clearly?

Round Rock is still a great "little" town, though I hesitate to call it little, being on the outskirts of Austin. Did you see the other posts here on my blog with photographs taken in this cemetery?

Thanks so much for stopping by and especially for leaving your comment.
